Archer's Pose
Sanskrit Name: Akarna Dhanurasana

Challenge Level: Hard
Archer pose is a seated yoga posture that requires a fair amount of flexibility. Archer pose resembles an archer aiming at a target, which is the inspiration for its name. To perform this pose, the practitioner assumes paschimottanasana (seated forward bend). One foot is brought toward the body and lifted high so it's beside the ear. The elbow lifts up so that the arm points down toward the toe. This is then repeated on the opposite side.
