Warrior three pose is the third of three related powerful standing postures that improve strength and flexibility. To enter this pose, place the legs as one would in warrior one pose and raise the arms overhead with the palms facing each other or touching. The back leg lifts off the ground as the anchored leg straightens. The torso tilts forward until the arms, torso and back leg are parallel to the floor.
